  • Prepare the Handpiece: Detach the high-speed handpiece from the dental unit. Ensure the handpiece is clean and free from debris before lubricating.
  • Apply the Lubricant: Shake the Waldent Unispray canister well before use. Identify the two large holes on the handpiece; locate the smallest of the two. Attach the spray nozzle to the canister, and insert it into the smallest hole. Press the nozzle to inject the lubricant, ensuring it lightly pours out of the other hole. This indicates sufficient lubrication.
  • Run the Handpiece: Reattach the lubricated handpiece to the dental unit. Run the handpiece for approximately 10 seconds to distribute the lubricant evenly and remove any excess. This process ensures that the handpiece is properly lubricated and ready for use.
  • Final Check: Remove the handpiece from the unit and wipe off any excess lubricant. Your handpiece is now clean, lubricated, and ready for the next procedure.
