Mixing FlexiGum Putty:

  • Dispense equal lengths of Putty Base and Catalyst onto a mixing pad.
  • Thoroughly knead the two components together until a uniform color is achieved.
  • Once mixed, quickly place the putty into the impression tray and seat it firmly over the dental arch.
  • Hold in place until set.

Mixing FlexiGum Light Body:

  • Attach a mixing tip to the Silicone Base and Catalyst cartridges.
  • Dispense equal amounts of Base and Catalyst into the mixing tip.
  • Mix thoroughly by extruding the material onto a mixing pad until a uniform color is obtained.
  • Load the mixed light body material into the impression tray using a suitable syringe or dispenser.
  • Apply the light body material around the prepared tooth or teeth, ensuring complete coverage and detail registration.
  • Seat the tray over the dental arch and hold in place until set.

Final Steps:

  • Once the impression is set, carefully remove it from the patient's mouth, ensuring minimal distortion.
  • Rinse the impression with water to remove any debris.
  • Inspect the impression for accuracy and detail reproduction.
  • Pour gypsum material into the impression to create a working cast.
  • Allow the gypsum to set according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Trim and finish the working cast as needed for further dental procedures.

Storage and Handling:

  • Store the components in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines for storage temperature and shelf life.
  • Ensure proper closure of containers to prevent contamination.
  • Dispose of unused materials according to local regulations.
