  • Chemical Curing Time: 5 minutes (Without Light-Curing)
  • Shades: Blue, Dentine, White

A) Preparing the Tooth:

  • Take appropriate measures to protect areas close to the pulp.
  • Ensure that the tooth is properly prepared for core build-up or post luting, following standard dental procedures and techniques.

B) Bonding Material:

  • Rebilda DC is used in the adhesive technique in combination with a light- or dual-curing adhesive that must be compatible with dual-curing composites.
  • Consult the product's instructions for use to determine the correct preparation (etching technique) and procedure for bonding.

C1) Using Rebilda DC in the Cartridge:

  • Insert the Rebilda DC cartridge into the VOCO dispenser (type 3) or any other extruder gun with a suitable piston.
  • Remove the cap, and press out the material until an equal amount has been squeezed out of both outlets.
  • Insert a mixing tip type 12 and lock it with a 90° turn clockwise. If needed, attach an additional intraoral tip type 3 onto the mixing tip.
  • For root canal application, use a mixing tip type 19 with an integrated metal cannula. You can pre-bend the cannula by hand.
  • Press the lever to extrude the material and mix it automatically in the correct ratio.

C2) Using Rebilda DC in the QuickMix Syringe:

  • Remove the cap and press out the material from the QuickMix syringe until an equal amount comes out of both outlets.
  • Place a mixing tip type 11, ensuring the notches on the syringe and the mixing tip line up exactly. Fix the mixing tip with a 90° turn clockwise.
  • If necessary, add an application tip type 4 on top of the mixing tip. The material is mixed automatically in the correct ratio when dispensing and can be applied directly.

D) Application of the Core Build-Up Material:

  • Place a matrix around the prepared tooth to contain the material.
  • Apply Rebilda DC directly from the cartridge or QuickMix syringe to the prepared tooth.
  • For light-curing, use transparent matrices for optimal results. Place the light-curing device's tip as close as possible to the surface of the core build-up and polymerize for 40 seconds using an LED/halogen lamp with a light output of at least 500 mW/cm². If the distance is more than 5 mm, the curing depth may be reduced.
  • For larger core build-ups, apply in layers of 2 mm and cure each layer for 40 seconds.
  • After light-curing, the material can be finished immediately.
  • Without light-curing, the build-up can be finished 5 minutes after its application in the mouth.
  • Light-curing for time-saving application
  • Additional chemical curing for safe polymerisation
  • Available in 10 g QuickMix syringes and 50 g cartridge
  • In three shades: blue for easy identification of preparation margins, dentine for aesthetic reasons, white as an aesthetic contrast to dentine
  • Low heat development even in bulk application
  • Flowable – packing is obsolete
  • Safe adhesion with system bond
  • Optimised small mixing tips save material
  • Easy access of posterior areas with intraoral tips
  • Light-curing for time-saving application

Description

Voco Rebilda DC is a versatile dental composite designed for core build-up procedures and the luting of fiber-reinforced resin posts, combining both light and chemical curing for efficient and reliable processing. Available in 10g QuickMix syringes and 50g cartridges, Rebilda DC comes in three distinct shades for various clinical needs.

The blue shade aids in the clear visualization of the transition between material and tooth substance, making it especially useful in molar and pre-molar regions. Dentine shade caters to high aesthetic demands, perfect for applications under full ceramic or translucent composite restorations. The white shade offers visibility of preparation margins while meeting aesthetic requirements.

Rebilda DC is suitable for use in patients of all ages and genders, and it's contraindicated only for those with known hypersensitivity to specific ingredients like methacrylates, BHT, amines, and benzoyl peroxide.

This dental composite is intended for use by professionally trained dental practitioners. It can be applied directly from the cartridge or QuickMix syringe, and its low heat development, even during bulk application, ensures patient comfort. Rebilda DC can be light-cured or left to chemically cure, with a working time of approximately 2 minutes.

INDICATION:

  • Adhesive core build-up on vital and non-vital teeth
  • Luting of fiber-reinforced resin posts
