PRECAUTIONS:

  • Operate each disk up to maximum permissible speed only
  • Insert the shank completely into the chuck of handpiece
  • Rotate each disk each time prior to use to check smooth run and safety
  • Operate at recommended pressure only
  • Do not use at an acute angle
  • Wear eye protecting glasses when using
  • Use these products for indicated purpose only
  • Prior to use, make sure that the dental restoration has been properly finished and smoothed with appropriate finishing burs or discs.
  • Attach the Super-Snap Buff Mini-Disk to the handpiece, making sure that it is securely fastened.
  • Apply a small amount of polishing paste or compound to the surface of the dental restoration.
  • Turn on the handpiece and gently apply the Super-Snap Buff Mini-Disk to the surface of the restoration. Avoid excessive pressure or heat buildup, as this may damage the restoration.
  • Move the Super-Snap Buff Mini-Disk in a circular or back-and-forth motion over the surface of the restoration, using light pressure.
  • Periodically check the progress of the polishing, and add more polishing paste or compound as needed.
  • After polishing is complete, clean the restoration thoroughly to remove any remaining polishing paste or compound.
  • Only a very light touch is needed to produce a highly lustrous shine on porcelains and composites
  • Flexible discs adapt to a tooth’s natural contours
  • Best results are obtained in combination with polishing pastes
  • These discs can be soaked in water until soft and flexible to activate before use
  • The thick disk design enables super polishing of occludal surfaces efficiently
  • Able to super polish multiple surfaces in a single bound without the mess of polishing pastes.

Shofu Super-Snap Buff Mini -Disk (PNL524) is an important part of abrasive procedures and involves production of micro fine scratches over the restoration thus producing extra lustre and enhancing the overall composure of the restorations. Shofu Super Buff Set is Specially designed aluminum oxide impregnated felt discs for polishing of direct tooth-coloured restorations with easy to use snap-on system. Featuring a synthetic velvet polishing cloth on the outer surface, Super-Snap Buff Discs retain polishing paste during use.

Super-Snap Buff Disks have no metal centers or exposed mandrels that can discolor or gouge composite materials.

It features a synthetic velvet polishing cloth outer surface which retains polishing pastes with minimum splatter or waste.
