Description

Carvene Gutta Percha Solvent is used for removing gutta percha at the time of root canal re-treatment. Also useful for removing all types of root canal filling materials including Zinc Oxide – Eugenol Cement or as a cleaner for endodontic instruments.

Carvene is non-hazardous unlike Choloroform/Trichloroethylene which are considered as carcinogenic substances. Also it is less volatile as compared to chloroform / Trichloroethylene. Carvene Gutta Percha Solvent is based on natural substances and therefore it does not cause irritation to oral mucosa and peri-apical tissue.

Indications :

To remove all types of root canal filling materials including Zinc Oxide-Eugenol cement.
As a disinfectant/cleaner for endodontic instruments
For removing gutta percha at the time of root canal re-treatments

Features

Composition : d-Limonene which is a natural substance extracted from orange oil.

Storage Conditions :

Store at temperature between 10°C to 24°C.
Close the cap carefully after use.
Keep away from moisture.
Shelf life not affected after opening if stored in a cool dry place.

Shelf life : 3 years from the date of manufacturing.

Dispense Carvene Gutta Percha Solvent into dappen dish or directly on cotton pallet.
Place the soaked cotton pellet on root canal filling material and cover with temporary cement (Zinc Phosphate).
Remove the softened filling material after two days
