Description

Premixed Calcium hydroxide paste containing iodoform with improved radiopacity and antimicrobial effect.

This is premixed oil based calcium hydroxide paste containing iodoform. The addition of iodoform to calcium hydroxide improves radioopacity and improves disinfecting property of the paste. Non Hardening paste, solubilized calcium hydroxide remains active in root canal for a longer time.

INDICATIONS:

For direct & indirect pulp capping and pulpotomy
Apexifications and hard tissue formations
Temporary or permanent filling material for infected root canal
Treatment of root resorption
Acid protection when applying etch technique

For indirect pulp capping, prepare the cavity and leave a thin layer of dentin over the pulp.
Mixing:If applicable, mix Prevest Calplus according to the manufacturer's instructions to achieve a uniform consistency.
Application:Using a suitable applicator or instrument, apply the Calplus directly to the prepared site. Ensure even coverage over the area needing treatment.
Setting:Allow the material to set according to the product guidelines. If applicable, follow with a suitable restorative material for added protection.
Post-Application Care: Advise the patient on any necessary follow-up care and monitor the treatment area during subsequent visits.
