How to Use the Product

  • A root canal is prepared using a dental instrument (file).
  • After thoroughly removing the remains from the root canal, sterilize and clean the root canal with a solution of hypochlorous acid or EDTA, and dry it using a paper point (if temporary filler remains in the root canal, it may interfere with the product's curing).
  • Measure the length of the root canal with a root canal length measuring instrument and a file, then select a suitable gutta-percha master point.
  • Mount a disposable tip onto the syringe and then insert it in the root canal.
  • Slowly push the syringe bar in the canal to fillthe root canal and slowly pullthe syringe out of the canal. Be careful not to create bubbles or overcharge.
  • Insert the gutta-percha master point into the root canal.
  • Sever the upper part using a dental appliance (heated plugger).Extra CeraSeal should be removed using a cotton swab or water-soaked cotton pellets.
  • Removal of the root canal filling: You can remove this by means of one ofthe usual master point removal  methods

Storage and handling after use:

  • Disposable tips are to be used only once and should be discarded after use. (Reusing is prohibited.)
  • After use, clean the inlet of the syringe  with gauze and close with a stopper.
  • Place the syringe in the aluminum pouch, seal it, and store it in a dry place.
  • Keep the syringe in a lying position after use.

Precautions during use:

  • Be sure to installa rubber dam in the patient's mouth before using this product.
  • Do not press the syringe too hard when injecting CeraSeal because this may cause the patient some pain. (Do not fill beyond the apex.)
  • Make sure that an x-ray is taken according to the procedure to confirm the sealing of the root canal.

Antimicrobial effect

  • Suppress the bacteria in the root canal

Non toxic (High cell viability)

  • Healing effect, harmless to human

High volumetric stability (no shrinkage, expansion)

  • Hydraulic condensation (One cone technique) is possible thanks to hermetic sealing

High flowability

  • All aspects of canal anatomy can be reached, which wasn't possible with CWC

Appropriate setting time (3.5h)

  • Prevents washout phenomenon

Premixed Syringe Type

Description

Meta CeraSeal RC Sealer is the second generation of bioceramic sealers, which have extraordinary insulator capabilities.

Application:

  • Permanent root canal sealing
  • Permanent root canal filling after pulp gangrene and temporary filling treatment.

ADVANTAGES:

Excellent Sealing Ability

  • Moisture in the dentinal tubules and Calcium Silicate’s chemical reaction produce crystallization of Calcium Hydroxide

  • CeraSeal is perfectly and fully hermetic in the root canal

  • It prevents the propagation of bacteria

Unique stability

  • CeraSeal never shrinks or expands in the root canal
  • It prevents from odontoclasis by keeping its stable volume
  • The Single cone technique obturation can be performed

Shorter Setting time

  • prevents from wash-out phenomenon

The wash-out phenomenon can happen if the MTA or MTA based sealer is not sufficiently cured or the exudate is produced in the root canal. Consequently, the root canal sealer is washed away by physical forces. CeraSeal prevents by curing faster than other sealers.

It’s Calcium Silicate!

Calcium silicate produces CAH (Calcium Aluminate Hydrate) gel and CSH (Calcium Silicate Hydrate) gel by absorbing the moisture from surrounding tissues in the root canal and some crystallization of Calcium Hydroxide (Ca(OH)2).
