Preparation:

Proportioning Measure the required amount of amalgam liquid, following the manufacturer's recommended ratio with the amalgam powder.

Mixing:

Add the liquid to the amalgam powder in an amalgamation capsule or mixing dish.Use an amalgamator or manually mix until a uniform, smooth consistency is achieved

 Application Carefully transfer the mixed amalgam to the prepared cavity using a carrier instrument.

Condense the mixture firmly into the cavity for proper adaptation and to eliminate air pockets.

Shaping and Polishing: Shape the amalgam to match the natural contours of the tooth.Allow the amalgam to set before polishing for a smooth finish.

Post-Use Care: Dispose of excess amalgam liquid and other waste according to local regulations.
