Clamp Selection:

  Position the clamp so that the bow is oriented distally (towards the back of the mouth).

Rubber Dam Application:

• Punch an appropriate hole in the rubber dam sheet corresponding to the tooth's size and position.
  Stretch the dam over the clamp and tooth, ensuring it fits snugly and isolates the tooth effectively.
  

Stabilization:

• Use dental floss to pass through the contact points, aiding in the placement and ensuring the dam sits properly.
  
• Additional stabilization can be achieved using rubber dam stabilizing cords or Wedjets if necessary.
