Prepare the Patient:

• Ensure the patient is comfortably seated, and local anesthesia is administered if necessary. The patient should be properly isolated with a rubber dam to maintain aseptic conditions.

Access the Root Canal:

• Gain access to the root canal system by creating an appropriate access cavity in the tooth. This step provides entry to the pulp chamber and allows for the placement of instruments.

Irrigation:

• Initiate irrigation by introducing an appropriate solution, typically sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), into the root canal. This solution helps in disinfection and removal of debris from the canal.

Select the Correct Tip:

• Choose the appropriate size and taper of the EndoActivator tip based on the specific requirements of the procedure. The tips are color-coded for easy identification.

Attach the Tip:

• Snap the selected tip securely onto the EndoActivator handpiece.

Insert the Tip:

• Gently insert the attached Activator tip into the prepared root canal. Take care not to force the tip to avoid over-insertion, which could damage the apex of the tooth.

Activate the Device:

• Depress the ON/OFF switch to activate the EndoActivator. This device features a 3-speed sonic motor, allowing you to choose the appropriate speed for the procedure. Start at a lower speed and gradually increase if necessary.

Agitate the Solution:

• While the tip is inside the root canal, the EndoActivator will agitate the irrigation solution through sonic activation. This agitation helps to clean and disinfect the root canal thoroughly.

Remove the Tip:

• After adequately agitating the solution, deactivate the EndoActivator and gently remove the tip from the root canal.

Rinse and Evaluate:

• Rinse the root canal with an appropriate solution to remove any remaining debris and disinfect the canal. Evaluate the cleanliness of the canal, looking for signs of thorough cleaning and debridement.
