• Crown Selection: Choose the appropriate 3M Paedodontic Zirconia Crown from the kit based on the size and type of restoration needed. These crowns are available in six sizes to accommodate various tooth dimensions.
• Fitting: Carefully try the selected crown on the prepared tooth to ensure it fits snugly. Make any necessary adjustments if the crown is too tight or too loose. Ensure that the occlusion (bite) is appropriate.
• Cementation: Once the crown fits perfectly, it's time for cementation. Use a high-quality dental cement suitable for zirconia crowns. Follow the cement manufacturer's instructions for mixing and application.
• Cement Application: Apply a thin layer of cement to the interior surface of the crown. Avoid excess cement that may flow out around the margins once the crown is placed.
• Seating the Crown: Gently place the crown onto the prepared tooth, aligning it accurately. Apply even pressure to ensure complete seating. Remove any excess cement immediately.
• Checking Occlusion: Verify that the occlusion is correct and adjust as needed. The patient should bite down to ensure comfort and proper alignment with adjacent teeth.
• Excess Cement Removal: Utilize appropriate dental instruments to carefully remove any excess cement around the crown margins. Ensure thorough cleaning for a clean finish.
