Description

Endoking Amalgamator is a mechanical device created to triturate liquid mercury and a metal alloy in precisely measured amounts to create silver amalgam restorative.

A dental amalgamator is used in the field of dentistry for the blending of restorative materials such as silver amalgam capsules and glass ionomer cement. This ensures a precise, controlled, and consistent mix.

The main components of an amalgamator are a series electric motor and a holder for receiving the capsule with the materials to be mixed for providing the filling compound. The typical amalgamator is designed to hold the ends of the capsule in a claw that is oscillating in a figure-of-eight pattern. The design accelerates the mixture towards each end of the capsule during each throw and impacts the mixture with the pestle. Amalgamators are used to form amalgam fillings for treating cavities found in teeth.

Choose fine capsules of silver with mercury.
Press the cap on the top of capsule into the capsule, let the inner silver powder and mercury contact closely.
Open the transparent protective cover, fix the capsule on the holder of mixer, then close the cover.
To set time - press the upper arrow key to set time longer, press the down arrow key to set time shorter.
Press the start key, the mixer begins to function . If you want to stop the amalgamator, press the start key once again.
Once the mixing is done properly, then you can open the cover and take off the mixed capsule,that can be used.
