  • Placement: Position the softened wax between the upper and lower dental arches where the bite registration is needed.
  • Bite Registration: Instruct the patient to gently close their mouth into a natural bite position, ensuring the wax captures the occlusion accurately.
  • Setting Time: Allow the wax to cool and set in place for a few moments until it hardens.
  • Removal: Carefully remove the wax registration from the patient’s mouth, ensuring not to distort the captured bite.

It is used to record bite while doing dental procedures. They are ideal for checking and maintaining accurate occlusal records
